Regardless of their motives, I am just stoked to finally have access to a legal cannabis dispensary.
I thought the day would never come, however our small neighborhood finally got its first cannabis dispensary! For the last year or so there have been a series of neighborhood hall meetings, as the local seasoned timers tried to reconcile the current state-wide laws about growing & selling pot. After being demonized for so long, it was a hard sell for this town. All around the state dispensaries have been opening up left & right, & until Last monthwe were still trapped in a more primitive era. After enough debate the measure finally passed the neighborhood council, however not because they muted their stance on cannabis, it was just for the cash. The amount of tax resite a single cannabis dispensary can create is enough to supply a huge financial boost to a neighborhood this small. Regardless of their motives, I am just stoked to finally have access to a legal cannabis dispensary. I have been an everyday pot smoker for the last ten or twelve years, however until now I always had to buy our marijuana illegally. I still had simple access, & the prices were very far lower than what we find at the cannabis dispensary, however it was stressful. It is so nice to be able to take our time shopping for cannabis, & not have to worry about getting in trouble with the cops. Also I have to say that I suppose like a kid in a candy store, because there are hundreds of kinds of cannabis there & I want to taste all of them!
