Understanding indicas, sativas and hybrids

Whenever I shop at the cannabis dispensary, I notice that the products are categorized by sativa, indica and hybrid, and for a long time, I had no method what those terms really meant, then sativas are buddyd with invigorating, energizing effects and a cerebral high.

Sativa really refers to the origin of the plant! It is consistently found in hot, dry temperatures with lots of sunny afternoons, such as Africa, Central America, Southeast Asia and areas of Western Asia!
