I have never felt politically about weed, I just like smoking it. When I heard that legalization would be on the ballot during the next election, I decided to get politically active for the first time in our life. This was not simply a matter of our own personal convenience, this was also about things being right or wrong, about good in addition to evil! What got me out of our house and out into the streets to raise awareness was the idea of our Great Aunt Jo. Jo was certainly sick a few weeks ago, in addition to the hospital wanted to prescribe medical cannabis to her, but the state government wouldn’t allow it. It’s 1 thing to tell a university youngster that they can’t do bong rips of marijuana on the weekends, but to deny valuable medicine to seasoned folks? That is heartless! With our Aunt Jo in mind I got some literature from a local cannabis advocacy group in addition to started distributing it amongst our neighbors. This led to some certainly interesting in addition to heated discussions, because some folks still have seasoned notions about cannabis in addition to its effects on the human body. I had to explain to almost everyone who would listen that cannabis is non-addictive, in addition to its known health benefits outweigh any downsides it may have. Some people would not listen to me, although I do know I changed a few opinions about cannabis. This vote about legal marijuana isn’t about YOU personally smoking out, it’s about letting the people who really need it have access to it. When you step into the voting booth, please vote to legalize cannabis!
