Insurance will cover opioids, but not marijuana

That’s when I discovered medical marijuana! Medicinal marijuana absolutely helps the pain and the addiction to pills

When I was 18 years of age, I was run down by a motorcar when crossing the street. I had the green light and there were honestly few cars on the road that day, then halfway across the street, the motorcar came out of nowhere and slammed right into me. It was dusk at the time and the sunshine was just going down. The driver of this motorcar kept on driving after she ran me over. I could not transport either one of my legs. Another driver saw the incident and wrote down the license plate number for the driver that left the scene of the accident. That driver also called the cops and an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, they helped myself and others on to a wheeled gurney. I went to the emergency room and they did a bunch of x-rays. Both of my legs were smashen. I had three surgeries and a couple of pins and rods put in my legs. After the accident, I had so much pain in my legs. The doctors prescribed pain medications. It didn’t take long for myself and others to become hooked on the pain medications and after a while I was eating opioids every day as if they were Tic Tacs. After a year, I ended up checking myself into rehab. That’s when I discovered medical marijuana! Medicinal marijuana absolutely helps the pain and the addiction to pills. Medical marijuana is 100% legal in this state, but my insurance supplier won’t cover any of the cost. The insurance supplier is happy to cover pain pills that make myself and others an addict, but they won’t help myself and others pay for medical marijuana at all.
