Have you ever heard of the Allman Brothers Band? They are one of the greatest rock groups of all time, a band of southern boys that have been traveling the world for the last 50 years or so. I remember seeing the Allman Brothers play back in the seventies, when the world was a very different place. At the time marijuana was very much illegal, but at the same time no one really cared about it. This was before the “War on Drugs” so even the cops didn’t give a crap about some hippie smoking a joint. When I first saw the Allman Brothers I had a pocket full of cannabis, and I was smoking bowls through the entire concert. What a time to be alive! Two years ago I went and saw the Allman Brothers again, only this time there was no cannabis involved. Guards at the front gate searched everyone coming in for things like weapons, booze, and cannabis. Thankfully I saw this coming, so I got out of line and put the cannabis back in my car. I also took the opportunity to eat a few cannabis edibles, and just for kicks I ate some magic mushrooms as well. If I had to go for three hours without smoking cannabis, I still needed to have a good time! The combination of the cannabis edibles and the mushrooms was amazing, and I was seeing colors inside the music. Halfway through the show I smelled the delightful odor of cannabis smoke, right before I saw the guards haul away some old hippie who tried to smoke weed inside the venue.
