One of the best parties I have ever attended was thrown by a couple of friends of mine for Easter Sunday. Jen and Richy are oddballs,a couple throwbacks to the Beach Boys era. That means that they are senior citizens, but also that they still party like it’s the 70s. I attended this Easter party because I know they are fun people, despite the fact that I don’t celebrate Easter. Afterward, I promised that I would never miss another one of their parties! Because it was Easter they held an adult Easter egg hunt. Instead of candy we were looking for cannabis and cordials of booze! Inside all of the eggs were a series of different cool prizes, including nickel bags of cannabis, tiny bottles of liquor, and even scratch off lottery tickets! There were about 20 of us at the party, all adults, but the way we hunted for the cannabis made us seem like a group of children. By the end of it I had three little bottles of rum, four lottery tickets, four cannabis gummies, and two grams of Purple Haze. Then it was time to trade with everyone else, and I gave away my lottery tickets and my rum for more cannabis. I have never been much of a drinker, so I didn’t mind trading it for two more cannabis edibles, and six grams of Blue Dream. In the end we were all winners, because everyone put their winnings on the table and we spent the rest of the evening smoking cannabis and drinking rum.
