I never thought that I would go to college.
When I was in my senior year of high school, all I wanted to do was party with my friends.
I barely graduated during my senior year of school and I spent a lot of time skipping classes. I graduated with a C+ average and I didn’t care about college. I became very interested in learning how to grow marijuana. I thought that it would be cool to go to the college to take a couple of classes on botany and horticulture. Once I was in college, I realized that it was a completely different experience from being in high school. I wanted to take more classes so I could earn a degree in biology. College can be very expensive, so I had to find a good job. I thought it would be great to stay in the same industry, so I applied to several different recreational and medical marijuana companies near me. I even applied at a couple of laboratories where they grow and package marijuana. I got two interviews with local marijuana dispensaries. Each one of the cannabis shops wanted to bring me into the place for an interview. Only one of the cannabis shops offered me a job and one of the laboratories offered me a job as well. I got to pick the place where I wanted to work and I decided to go with the cannabis dispensary because of the 30% discount on all of the marijuana concentrates, edibles, flower, and pre-rolls. It was hard for the laboratory to compete with that.
