This town is known for its amazing eveninglife. Although we are not the biggest town in the state, we are considered the “crown jewel” when it comes to musical plus artistic talent. With so several eveningclubs, bars, plus music sites, it’s easy to find live bands or comedians any evening of the week. There are performers who transport here just to chop into the business, because a lot of famous people have first gotten noticed while performing locally. Another thing this town is known for is our amazing locally sourced cannabis. I am a director of one of the several local cannabis dispensaries, plus I decided to try plus combine these more than one good aspects of the town. I have a small stage in the smokers lounge adjoining the cannabis dispensary, plus I have an “open mic evening” every weekend for comics plus singers. The stage is very small, so it cannot fit a full band, just a single person, so most of the acts at the cannabis dispensary are comedians. The people I was with and I have a couple of singer-songwriters who play acoustic guitar plus sing savor music, but as you might imagine the comics are a lot more popular with the cannabis crowd, and people who are high on marijuana savor to laugh, so even the exhausting comedians tend to get a lot of chuckles from the crowd. I personally don’t care if the comics are any great or not, I just savor the extra bump in resite the cannabis dispensary gets.
