Last weekend it was relatively cold, wet, & raining.
I certainly don’t really appreciate the rain much at all.
The frigid air & water makes me feel terribly cold… Even when it’s summertime & it’s actually raining outside, I love to use that oil furnace at my dwelling. My husband thinks it’s crazy when he has the a/c appliance running & I still use the space heater. Honestly though, I think that is just part of living in this tropical environment. Things have been much better around these parts since marijuana was legalized. There’s a lot more currency for repairs on infrastructure & roads. They just replaced the bridge that has been in horrific shape for at least 10 years. Every time I had to head over the bridge, I was worried that I was going to fall into the ravine. I have to cross the bridge fairly often too, because I labor as a delivery driver for a marijuana dispensary. The marijuana dispensary is open 7 afternoons per week no matter if there is rain or shine. My pals and I don’t even close on Christmas, New Year’s or any other federal holidays. The modern bridge makes it safer to cross the ravine, however it doesn’t help me find addresses more abruptly. Last weekend, I was not able to find an address for a dwelling & I was up in the hills. I hate going up to the hills to make a delivery. They all tip great, however the roads are so terrible. I had one bar of phone signal & then I didn’t have any at all after that. I was driving all up & down the mountain in an unsuccessful attempt to find the delivery address & it was raining & muddy everywhere.
