Well, finally we have our own cannabis dispensary! It took a while but this end of town is now served by a marijuana dispensary. I’m feeling overjoyed as are most of the people I know; Of course, there is a faction in this end of town who is all angry still that there is legal access to recreational marijuana. It’s the same crowd who winds up getting secretly blitzed on booze, but the irony is lost on those folks anyway! The simple fact is that there was a state-wide vote to legalize recreational marijuana plus it passed, however so you can feel frustrated about that plus be miserable if you want to. But it’s not going to change the fact that our local marijuana laws are finally catching up with the times. I’m not eager for everybody to hop on the bandwagon when it comes to cannabis, yet, the folks that need medicinal marijuana should be able to access a cannabis dispensary, and for those for those of us who don’t smoke it in a medicinal fashion, we should be able to access recreational marijuana if we are of legal age. Finally, our state got it together enough to where we are now using our good old fashioned sense when it comes to the marijuana business… Recreational marijuana use has been legal here for a couple years now but we are just now getting a local cannabis store on this end of town. I appreciate the fact that I don’t have to figure out how to get myself all the way to the other side of town when I when I run out of OK Kush or something like that, however now all I have to do, is get off the train or the bus plus walk right past the cannabis dispensary on our way home, however doesn’t get much better than this.
